Lyric Opera of Orange County

It’s always a joy to be part of this timeless classic, especially in the role of the bullfighter Escamillo. This innovative production of Bizet’s classic was no exception, and under the deft hand of director Diana Farrell and conductor Doris Lang Kosloff, this production was a major success. Performed at the beautiful Muckenthaler Theater in Fullerton, CA.

Into the Woods |
Pacific Opera Project

Due to cast illness, Johann jumped in last-minute to perform the role of Rapunzel’s Prince in Pacific Opera Project’s luscious production of Sondheim’s Into The Woods,

After 24-hours of preparation, Johann stepped on-stage for the second weekend of shows at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge, CA.

Vox Domini Competition

Hear the winning performance from Iceland’s 2019 Vox Domini competition. Selections are from Wagner’s Tannhäuser and Brahms’ Wir Wandelten.

As one of the winning prizes, Johann performed a full recital hosted by the Icelandic Opera in their Harpa Concert Hall.
